The Firetruck

Soo....what is the most interesting thing that has happened this week? I saw a firetruck ...not only one but TWO!!!!

Well, we were at the linguistic olympiad thingo at Melbourne Uni. Happily arriving just as they began to dish out the papers we sat down and were totally psyched! We got to take a massive taxi there too at the expense of PLC! what can i say we felt special...so we sat and then heard a weird bell...eyes got wider and people started to look around confused. The basic gist of the silence was..is this a fire alarm? do we seriously need to leave?-.-' ...we did have to leave. but just before we left guess what popped infront of me...unless you know already...trust me..you won't guess...it was...Wong! yes i felt it was totally random but a familiar face is a nice surprise. So we all file out...on the basically the only wet day we've had in how long? but it was okay i had my blazer..shoulder pads and all. so we stand for a while and i see a firetruck pass by the gates in the distance...by the time i had pointed it out it had gone and Jen thought i was crazy...BUT NO I WASN'T!!!! Two firetrucks rolled in and the firemen were all suited up and ....we don't actually know what happened. so after a while we were about to go in again and just as we got to the door...the alarm went off again ...a general groan was heard from the crowd and we dragged our feet back to the grass. ... ... ... eventually we were let back in again. So skipping to the end of our session two odd things happened ...we finished the questions..Hurrah!..but we ran out of time to transfer our answers onto the booklet but all is okay the people were very nice to us...and then we realised 'no ..wait! we aren't group 19 which we had to write on each page of the answer booklet no!! we were group 29!!! whoops..' all was good we changed our number and yes.
