so i didnt get a transfer. i guess thats a good place to start. but i have a few subjects that i'm really quite interested in. which is new. i'm attempting to scratch the surface of pitman shorthand developed in 1830's. well...by pitman. Not for any reason ...i suppose it will be as useful as memorising the elements of the body in tenth grade...you know...i still have them infront of me on my desk; 65% oxygen, 15% carbon..et cetera. that eccentricity was sparked by none other than FMA. ^^
Lately i've been learning to read. read books. books. and stuff for uni. uni. since i started this year i've read 4 different translations of Genesis1-7. Every time i read it. it becomes more fantastical, more a myth or some cancelled fantasy-genre show than when i heard it as a kid. the history part...methusela begat whoever and lived for 969 years then died...is so painful i couldnt believe it. but i read the Silmarillion last semester so i can see the stem of generational history idea...pretty cool.
i've been watching more fantasy/sci-fi shows over the holidays; sanctuary, warehouse13, little of Dr. Who more of its spin-off torchwood, i still have five episodes of andromeda...but i dont know if i'll finish it. anyway torchwood took a kinda existentialist view of the afterlife...i dislike that idea completely. how can we live our lives believing that we stop existing? i have to say i like the idea of an afterlife...we could have a whole new journey way better than this one!!!^^
